Consequently, Aiways has achieved the feat of creating a 360° view from above its vehicle, by using wide-angle cameras placed all around the vehicle that allow it to recreate the ground around the periphery. A rather well-embedded image of the top of the vehicle is placed in the center of the screen and perfectly simulates the illusion of having a bird’s-eye view of the vehicle.

But did you know that a touch dashboard of 12.3 inches gives you the ability to manage absolutely all the vehicle’s options; even access the vehicle guide in French. Therefore, the driver also has the comfort of three touchscreens, right in front of the steering wheel.

An automated driving assistance is integrated, allowing the user not to deviate from the ground markings. Moreover, with the interior camera system, there’s no need to turn around to monitor the level of turbulence of your children in the back seat. Additionally, it can be viewed directly from your dashboard screens.

A 100% electric vehicle …

Unlike hybrid vehicles, 100% electric has many advantages :

• With a lower fuel cost
• Finally, the vehicle recharges while going downhill
• Additionally, LED lighting that consumes little energy

Furthermore, it takes 8 hours for a full charge on a fast charging station and 16 hours on a standard 220-volt outlet. In comparison, this is certainly much longer than Tesla’s. But, it doesn’t prevent its daily use. Surely, it’s enough not to neglect charging it overnight to enjoy 400 km of road (this depends on the roads taken and the age of your battery). The charging is easily done by pressing on the panel under the front headlight on the driver’s side, allowing you to open the flap and quickly access the connector.

And yes, it may seem silly : without energy, it’s impossible to drive!

Indeed, the passenger detector can be too sensitive. So, it’s impossible for you to lock the car. To correct this problem, you just need to be careful of any accessories that may be placed on the driver’s seat such as a towel, bag …

Moreover, an interface that’s not always easy to get used to. Since Android had to break ties with China, Chinese firms are forced to create their own user interfaces. It may seem quite cheap (low-end), but tends to evolve later. Consequently, we should give them some time to catch up with Android (Google) and iOS (Apple), don’t you think ?

However, know that your mobile devices, whether they run on OS (operating system) Android or Apple, you will be able to connect to the Aiways car via USB or Wi-Fi (wireless connection) through a small application to install on your smartphone.

A low-cost price for a refined Aiways …

So, if you’re in love with new technologies, SUVs (Sport Utility Vehicles) that are electric and have beautiful finishes; without ruining yourself by buying a Tesla, this car could be an excellent compromise. Its price upon release, delayed due to COVID-19, will be around 40,000 €.
