“The Imaginary Invalid”: A Laughter Therapy for the Benefit of the Underprivileged !

Tired of dusty classic comedies? Want a good dose of laughter for a good cause? Rush to see Les Types Louches, a theater company that revisits Molière’s plays with biting and crazy humor!

On stage, passionate amateur actors embody colorful characters in original stagings full of anachronisms. Laughter is guaranteed from start to finish! But that’s not all: Les Types Louches have a big heart. They donate all of their proceeds to charitable organizations that work for the underprivileged.

Among their partners are APA, which creates supportive shared housing for people in need, and Chemins d’Espérance, which supports elderly people in vulnerable situations.

A Captivating Associative Project

We had the honor of being selected to photograph the performances of the play “The Imaginary Invalid” by La Compagnie des Types Louches.

To support their communication, we wrote an article in parallel and conducted an advertising campaign on social networks to increase their visibility.

We are delighted with the success achieved, as their last two performances quickly sold out.

When Creativity Explodes

Creating a Captivating 3D Video to Promote a Theater Play: A Challenge Successfully Met

Creating a 3D video to promote the theater play of La Compagnie des Types Louches was a significant challenge. Time and resource-intensive, this creation nevertheless had to be completed within a tight deadline. It was thanks to this involvement and our expertise that this challenge could be successfully met.

A Meticulous Creative Process and Cutting-Edge Tools

To bring this 3D video to life, we leveraged powerful industry software: Blender for 3D modeling and animation, Substance Painter Substance Designer (Adobe) for texturing and dressing visual elements, Nuke (The Foundry) for compositing, After Effects (Adobe) for graphic animation and DaVinci Resolve (Blackmagic Design) for post-production and color grading.

Effective Distribution on Social Networks

Once finalized, the video was promoted on the most popular social platforms: Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. In parallel, it was shared across all of ROMAN3D’s social networks, reaching a wide and diverse audience.

A Resounding Success in the Service of Promotion

Thanks to its visual quality and captivating message, the 3D video played a crucial role in promoting the article and theater play of La Compagnie des Types Louches . It sparked public interest and contributed to generating significant excitement for this artistic work.
